UBU member publishes paper on pond sand filter in Gosaba, India

miaindia1Access to clean drinking water is a problem faced by many villagers in the Sundarbans. In 2014 Mia went to West Bengal to investigate how a modified sand filter can be implemented to increase accessibility to clean drinking water.

The exciting results can be read in the article Submerged Pond Sand Filter—A Novel Approach to Rural Water Supply which has been published in the journal Water.
