Anthropology field work in Sundarban

anthropology-students (1)In november 2014 four anthropology students, Malthe, Emil, Benedikte and Katrine from University of Copenhagen visited our Indian partner organisation, JGVK, to study the organisation’s visions related to the implementation of UBUs Resilience project.

During their stay the students followed the work of the project regarding advocacy in the area. They attended the monthly meeting for all field workers, observed meetings in self-help groups and interviewed the leading figures in JGVK about the project. The students went home with a lot of good experiences and useful data and they even got to see two bengal tigers on a safari in Sundarban. Read more.
